1. Will insurance be accepted? We are a cash based business seeking to lower overall cost, most services are the same as your copay! We offer these services in order to reduce barriers for those without insurance or high deductible plans. However, most labs are covered by insurance, and prescriptions are covered by most insurance plans!
2. Why will my Compound GLP-1 not be covered by insurance? Compound medications are typically not covered by insurance. We will work with insurance companies to analyze if you can have a GLP-1 approved by insurance. However most people can’t afford a GLP-1 even with insurance. GLP-1 compound medications are not evidence based due to not being FDA approved (not truly approved and tested for the amount claimed in the product). The risk of GLP-1 compound remains minimal, all GLP-1 compound pharmacies we contract with are researched for any discrepancy in there product. AT AHW the belief of the benefit of compound GLP-1 is the access to low cost compound medication is a way to not buy into big pharma and support more realistic expense for health.
3. How will I know if a product truly has the vitamin or mineral claimed within it? The answer is simple, look for the label. “USP” label verifies there is the amount and strength claimed in the label.
4. Why is hormone pellet therapy not offered? Biote is not offered due to more safe options available and well researched. Hormone therapy is beneficial however only for truly FDA proven results. Biote is not an FDA approved product and if adverse effects are seen there is not a reversal.
